SO today, I had my 30 week check up with Dr. A (love him by the way)...and things look great. I am measuring 35 weeks right now so it's definitely getting close. The heartbeats are great, there is lots of fluid and no cervical dilation, no stretch marks...As for now this pregnancy is perfection.
I talked to my doc about how far he wanted me to go (realistically) and he said 36 weeks would be awesome. He said 35 is the norm but after 36 most babies go to the well nursery. That will be right at my schools spring break and would be a great time to deliver. I am having such mixed feelings about this coming to an end....I can't wait for the backaches and hellish heartburn to end but these little beans make me laugh and I love feeling them move around. All of that pales in comparison, though, to the way I know I will feel when "Mom" and "Dad" hold their babies in their arms for the first time:) It feels like just yesterday I was signing the contracts and waiting for my meds and now this journey is almost over. I have no regrets whatsoever. I am so happy for the lessons in love and life this journey has taught me. E & S, hang in there because this wild ride you have been on is about to get alot crazier...Here is to you having the loves of your life in your arms in no time---
